Our Spirulina is nurtured in British Columbia Canada using an innovative indoor micro-climate system and completely organic ingredients.

I have dietary restrictions, can I use Liquid Spirulina?

Absoutetely! It's 100% vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free and GMO-free.

How long does it last?

Our Spirulina is fresh frozen, so it can last an entire year when kept in a freezer (-18C). When refrigerated, (-5C) its shelf life is up to 14 days.

How do I use it?

In most cases we recommend taking one sachet of Fresh Spirulina daily and preferably during the morning.

Can my child eat Fresh Spirulina?

Absolutely! There is no contamination risk because of the enclosed micro-climate system we use to nurture it.

Does it have the same bad taste and smell as spirulina powder?

Our spirulina is virtually tasteless with no odor.

Is Spiruvive's liquid Spirulina free from heavy metals and toxins?

Grown in a closed controlled system, we can guarantee the cleanliness and purity of our product. It is free of heavy metals, mycrocystins (bacteria which attack the liver)and toxins. We are approved by Vancouver Coastal Health Authority.

Why are Fresh Spirulina's Nutrition Facts different from those of dried Spirulina?

Food in nature comes whole, not concentrated. Our naturally-liquid Spirulina is raw, pure, complete and unadulterated as intended by nature. We do not process or dehydrate our Spirulina. We do not separate from our Spirulina it's most potent ingredients such as Phycocyanin - the miracle anti-inflammatory molecule for brain function or Zeaxanthin - nature's most powerful protein for vision.

Delivery

How does shipping work?

We ship Fresh Liquid Spirulina it in a thermal insulated wrapping with an ice pack to maintain its freshness throughout delivery. Spirulina is a 3.6 billion year-old microalgae. It can withstand multiple freezing and thawing cycles without nutrient loss, as long as temperatures are kept under 30C for less than 48 hours. We ship it frozen. You will receive it cold and liquid. Please freeze it upon arrival and defrost only individual sachets that you will consume.

When do you ship?

We currently ship once a week during an optimum window so that our Spirulina maintains its freshness all through the delivery process. To maintain its peak freshness our Spirulina is deliberately packed and shipped frozen and when it arrives at your door it is in a liquid state. You’ll receive an instruction slip with your order, which encourages you to place it in the freezer as soon as you receive it.

Can I track my shipment during delivery?

Yes! A tracking number will be sent out with the confirmation email so you can keep tabs on your Fresh Liquid Spirulina and plan to receive.
